Colouring Page: The Mountain Lion / Cougar / Puma / ...

Day 5 of Quarantine / a.k.a. Living the Good Life Amidst COVID-19: Figured I would finish illustrating the big cats today for my Canadian wildlife board game while I'm not leaving the house. Introducing #51/100: the Mountain Lion! Or the cougar... Or the puma... Your choice. Living in large forests, the cougar hunts alone and is capable of taking down deer and even moose all on its own. It's the largest of Ontario's cats, and has the most beautiful eyes ("I bet you say that to all the forest felines, don't you?"). Go ahead and print out my colouring pages to show me how much you love nature and keep me motivated towards finally finishing my goal of 100 local animals! Much love to all. Stay safe, stay grounded.

Colouring Page: The Canada Lynx

Day 4 of Quarantine / a.k.a. Living the Good Life Amidst COVID-19: it's a Canada Lynx kind of day. Over twice the size of the average house cat, it has a shorter tail and longer legs and ear tufts than the Bobcat. The lynx hunts at night, relying primarily on the snowshoe hare for food.
While I use this isolation time to put a push on finishing illustrations for my board game, I invite you to print out my sketches and colour them for yourselves! Please post you or your child's finished masterpiece if you are so inclined and make sure to tag me. It would bring me so much joy to see what you come up with and will help motivate me to reach my goal of 100 animals. The Canada Lynx is animal #50!!! Wishing everyone ease in this strange period with lots of quality life moments.
