Earth Skills Gathering:
Warnings & Expectations

Expectations of You and Your Family

  • Be respectful of the land and of others.
  • Leave the land better than you found it.  Clean up after yourselves.
  • Children and babies welcome. You are responsible for your child's safety and well-being, as well as their actions.
  • Dogs and adventure-cats are welcome ON LEASH ONLY.  You are responsible for your pet's safety and well-being, as well as their actions and waste.   If your furry friend does not play well with others, consider leaving them at home.
  • Acoustic music encouraged before 10 pm.
  • No alcohol.

WARNINGS

HIKES & LOST-PROOFING:
Please stay in the common areas or on the clearly marked pathways of both the Earth Skills property and the provinvial park.  We will have some great animal trackers with us, but let's try to avoid hearing "Bob hasn't been seen since around 6pm last night, so we've got a great opportunity for today's tracking workshop!"

SUNSET:
Sunset is around 7:30pm. Consider taking shorter hikes in the evening so you can be back to your campsite before dark.
