Ottawa's Wildest Summer Camps:
Dates Released for 2020!
Where Science Meets Magic
Does your child love making bows and arrows, building forts, and imagining what it was like to live in the wild?
Do they need to know everything about plants and animals, bombarding you with a million questions?
Do they light up when they get to use tools, creating mini masterpieces with their very own hands?
Do they love the environment and want to protect it?
They might just be a Nature Connections kid:
Capable, Curious, and Kind.
Immerse your child in a world where we learn from the land and the skills of our ancestors. In small groups led by our multidisciplinary team of Nature Nerds, we work together to build, plant, harvest, study, observe, hike, play, and create. We explore bushcrafts and the skills of the wild, like natural fiber rope making, animal tracking, shelter building, weaving, fire, and so much more. We find and study bones, feathers, tracks, scat, and anything else the animals may have left behind. We learn about plants and which ones are safe to harvest, sharing bush tea, berries, and whatever is in season. Nature Connections kids work together with friends, developing strength of character, community, and the skills they need for a great future.

- Survival, bushcraft, and tool use
- Animals, plants, rocks and landscapes
- Gardening, wild edibles, and nature crafts
- Community building and leadership
- Learning through the arts
