World Setting: In the not-so-distant future...

It's getting dark again, and you've been wandering the wilderness for days. The wind is picking up, and you wonder how you'll make it through the next weeks - nevermind the next winter. Crisis hit your city last month, and you had to get out... quickly...  with nothing more than what you could carry. The supplies you've brought with you are running low, and your spirits lower.

You come across a group of people huddled around a small fire, speaking in hushed voices.
Faint laughter and a hint of song float through the crisp air. You're hesitant, but the lure of a warm meal and human connection drive you cautiously forward.

A twig cracks under your foot. In an instant the voices have been silenced, all eyes peering towards you into the dark.
After a few moments you hear in panicked, whispered voices:
"Nobody move",
"Make some loud noises to scare it off!",
"...What if it's not an animal?"

And so our journey together begins. Will you have what it takes?
