What a cool moment for a highly intuitive 7 year old girl this evening! The group of kids were all searching for Ogui as the last person hiding in the field/forest for a game, and I motioned for this girl to come over. I asked her to close her eyes, and slowly spin in a circle until she "sensed" Ogui, and when she sensed him she should point. After turning for a bit, eyes closed, she asked "Do I point when I feel warmth?" and I said "Sure, if that's what you feel". So she pointed immediately at his exact hiding spot even though he wasn't visible. The boys followed her finger and ended up finding him first, but they had gone right by him countless times before she pointed out the right direction (which there was no pathway to, they had to walk through high grass and raspberries). We've done similar intuition exercises with some kids, but that was probably one of the coolest moments!
