What We're All About
We offer you creative ideas to meet your needs while giving back to the Earth. We facilitate learning from nature to tackle everyday problems and challenges. We share skills for living lightly and surviving the next power outage, camping trip, or apocalypse. We encourage everyone to get dirty, observe, learn, play and create as children do - unhindered by "I can't" and "I'm not good at".
Nature isn't something that is "out there" and separate from us. It is right here, where we are. If we all start small, act local, work together, and learn from nature, we can all live happier, healthier, more fulfilling and harmonious lives - together. We look forward to meeting or seeing you again soon. Come play with us!

Mission
Through education, play and adventure, our mission is to teach youth and the young at heart about the natural world and how to meet our most basic needs while giving back to the Earth.
Company Story

What started out as a passion for local and sustainable food developed into an effort to share the beauty and wisdom of the natural world through education-based events and programs.
Nature Connections is focused on sharing earth skills: everything from permaculture, gardening, survival skills, sustainable food and farming, with the aim of re-connecting kids to nature and creating resilient communities.
After meeting in a local permaculture design course, Brittany and Alister connected around the idea that nature isn't something that is "out there" and separate from us. Though they started out as a ecological gardening company, Brittany and Alister soon realized they could make a bigger difference by empowering and teaching people to grow food and provide for themselves.
